      Foreword

  This collection of poems is my fourth journey into the poetry realm.This book is also special to me ,because ten years ago my poem "Me And Proud To Be," became the first of many poems published.I'm celebrating this wonderful occasion by presenting this book to you all as a thank you for reading my work for a decade. This book is also a sequel to my previous book "Choose The Stars." Whereas that book was about the lighter side of love,this one is more darker and reality driven. For example the poem "Igloo In California," dealt with rare love, "Duck Rings" deals with pain.I also include some old style favorites the word play series as well as the last poem, One More For The Reader 4. I hope that you all enjoy reading this book, as I have enjoyed writing it.

  Love gives one flight Love shows us the meaning of this life's existence

  Never hiding her true face in the way of life

  As I contemplate this beautiful yet ugly thing called love a poet speaks to me

  "Hey Love" says a soothing, comfortable voice from the foggy mists of despair

  I kind of like the way you feel when you empower my passions strengthen my truths

  Love has fooled me once and shame on me

  Alas, she will never guide my heart on her ship through the abyss of despair

  The voice drifts away like a cloud of mistretareating across the horizon to reveal the dawn of a new day truth and validify my horror

  I know you mean well, but my life is my own

  Now I know why I have been writing them love poems

  Because somehow my spirit knew That I would meet

  Stars and galaxy alligned

  Now you are mine

  God did me a wonderful favor

  When he brought your star closer to my galaxy

  We have an endless galactic translation going on

  Faithfully cosmic

  Eternal eclipse of our souls Intersystemic meteor shower of love

  As the prayer escapes my lips

  The pain of love haunts me like a nightmarish ghost

  Wishing for the beautiful meadows

  The happy bouncing song

  I am barren

  In the weakness of Venus' grip

  Oh Mars please save me

  Fire destroys

  The love that rained on my spirit As the zombies of heartache and pain

  Attack my mind and my spirit

  I cry out for a rescue

  Yet no escape can be found

  The waves of calm surrounding me

  like Im on a shaky boat

  Even though the pain still hurts like a fresh wound 

  I forgive you 

  Even though I still cry thinking about our situation

  My heart has let go of the pain
